Holy Week 2011

• My cousins and I went to Pampanga for Holy Week. Normally, we would just do Visita Iglesia all over Metro Manila, but we decided to do something different this year. We stayed in our Apu’s place and devoured everything we can see on the table. Now I feel hefty. It didn’t feel like Holy Week at all. 
• After visiting one of the oldest churches in the country, according to Manong who also informed us that it’s the church where ABS-CBN shoot Santino, we decided to go to Cutud, Pampanga to witness the re-enactment of Christ’s Passion.
• We saw the Crucifixion site, the Penitents, and lots of people, including foreigners, taking photos with their cameras. At the end of the day, I got Penitent’s blood on my shorts, legs, and four strips of blood on my right arm. But it was all worth it. Remind me to bring a camera next time.

December 31st

I sent my resignation letter. My Manager was so pissed, he even told me he was really disappointed in me. At first I felt really guilty for ruining his day, it’s New Year’s Eve after all. I could have waited until next week, but I wanted to start my year right. His feelings towards me were very transparent. For every mistake I make, he made sure that I get a piece of his mind. But still, I don’t regret leaving SMART.

January 28th

It was my last day in SMART. Working in Operations Team seem very easy. But trust me, it’s not as easy as it looks. Especially, when you have no idea how to deal with problems and issues coz you never had any formal training about the system you’re supporting. Add untrustworthy co-workers, stress from shifting schedule, overwhelming workload, slow career growth (or no growth at all), and pressure from your superiors— that oughta do it! I had to quit.

February (LOVE Month)

Spent the whole month thinking about LIFE. It was Quarter-life Crisis all over again. Went to Pampanga and did a little soul-searching. Ate all by myself at the Original Razon’s of Guagua. Grabe, they’re Halo-Halo costs only 60php while it costs 90php in Manila. Mahal pala pamasahe ng Halo-Halo? 

March (Time to get back on my feet)

Job Application— here, there, and everywhere! Research Analyst, Programmer, Trainee, UNIX Consultant, Property Consultant, Data Analyst, Paralegal— are among the many job positions I applied for. Fortunately, all my hardships have finally paid off. And my prayers were answered.

April 17th

Tomorrow is Holy Monday, and also my first day at work. I remember when I posted here about my Orientation Day at SMART. I really had fun with them. :) Sana ganong kaKwela din ang mga magiging kasama ko.:)
